Merry Christmas!

Ok! We are almost caught up. I do have a few christmas pictures of the kids, but I will put them up with christmas day pictures. I hope that everyone has a wonderful christmas. Noah is soooo excited! He just had a birthday so he fully understands what presents are. I found him unwrapping some gifts that had been given to us to deliver to a family in our ward. He said "look what I got mommy!" I had to explain to him that not all presents were his. He does walk around the house singing christmas songs. It is so cute to hear his interpretaions. I was surprised at how well he remembers the words at 2. Olivia is getting cuter every day. She loves it when Noah plays with her. Sometimes she will just stare at us until we look at her and she flashes her adorable smile. She was laying on the bed the other day while I wrapped some presents and she realized wrapping paper makes a fun sound. She got hold of it so....one of daddy's presents is really wrinkled! I can't wait for christmas morning to see their excitement. Olivia is only 5 months, but she likes to put everything in her mouth! Well that is all for now, don't give up on me, I am trying to be better about posting. It is getting easier now that Noah is getting older. He doesn't bang on the keyboard while I am typing anymore!
Merry Christmas Everyone, and Happy New Year!

Monday, November 8, 2010

Ok everyone! I finally got some pictures on here. All these were pre-halloween. Noah absolutely loves his little sister. He does a good job helping me take care of her. I have more pictures from Halloween. Also, we blessed her yesterday and had Noah's birthday party. So....once I have those loaded on the computer I will put them on too. It is a lot more work when you wait so long to post things! Guess I'll have to do it more often! We love you all and hope you enjoy!

My New Baby Sister!

These were some cute pictures. Noah loves tools and loves to help Daddy fix things. Little did he know that we were fixing the gate to keep him out! He is also a good big brother. He is always wanting to hold and kiss the baby. He gets upset if I don't kiss her enough, and he always tells me when she is crying!

Noah tried and tried to get her to play with him, but she just wanted to sleep and eat. Now that she is older she is starting to smile and laugh at him.

Family Update!

I had a little time this morning so I put a picture of Olivia on there. She was a month old when I took this one. I will try to find time for another update later as well. I have so many pictures I want to share with you all. Everything is going well for us now. We had a rough couple of months. Chris had been really sick with gall bladder disease and finally got it removed, but Noah got the chickenpox that same week. Besides that we now all have the nasty cold that is going around. We are on the mends though and are finally getting more sleep at night.
It seems that each time we get into a routine someone gets sick and messes it up! The kids were taking turns sleeping bad the last couple of weeks. We have a whole new idea of what it means to be tired!
Noah is growing really big now and is about to celebrate his 2nd birthday. Olivia just turned 3 months and is adorable. She loves to smile at her big brother. We are finally going to have her blessed this sunday so we will have many more pictures to post I am sure.
Well, that is all for now. As I said before I will try to get the pictures posted soon. We have halloween pics too.

We are almost there!

Just a little update on the family. It has been so long since I have posted something on here. I put pictures up of Noah yesterday, but even those are a few months old. He is just as cute as ever and starting to talk a lot. He still tries pointing and whining for things but I just tell him to use words and he says some gibberish. A lot of times now I can actually understand what he wants. He is very good at saying the words "I want" but whatever comes after that is still a little garbled.
We are at 35 weeks and counting with the baby. So, just a little bit longer and we will have little Olivia here. I have been trying to teach Noah how to say her name and he is doing pretty good. Usually it is just the vowels like eeaa or ooeeoo. It depends on the day.
Noah had an appointment with an orthopaedic doctor last week for his leg development. Although he is a little knock kneed and flat footed the x-ray shows that his bones are fine and the doctor thinks he will grow out of it. We shouldn't have reason to worry unless he still shows signs of it around age 4. He thought it might get worse before it gets better and probably shows more right now because of how fast he is growing. He is taller than most the kids in Nursery and even some of the Sunbeams. No surprise there! I expect all our children will be tall! Thank you everyone for your prayers for Noah last week. He did really well with the x-rays and the results were what we were hoping for.
Well that is all for now. I will try to keep posted about the baby as well. Take care, and we love you all!

Sorry So Long!

Here are some cute pictures of Noah being mischevious.

This is Noah's first time at the zoo! He loved the Cherry Icee!

And here he is digging in the mud where we had just planted strawberries. He had mud all over him.

Our Snow Storm! 02/12/2010

These pictures were taken when it had been snowing for about an hour. We did end up getting close to 7 inches at our house. Unfortunately by the end of the next day it was gone. Noah wasn't sure about it at first but then decided that he loved it. He did face plant a couple of times but his hat was bulky enough that he didn't get it on his face. We had fun throwing snowballs at daddy!

After Christmas Noah insisted on helping me put away the tub of decorations. It was so cute! As you can see he also likes reading books and sitting on the couch to watch TV. His favorite shows are Super Why, Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right! I think he likes all the clapping involved in the game shows. He occasionally cheers for people when they win stuff too. It is adorable. He really enjoyed watching the Olympics with us and learned how to say GO! GO! GO! while waving his hands in the air. We had a few weeks of sickness but our happy boy is back, much to the relief of his mother!

Noah likes to chew on anything he can get in his mouth. I think it makes his teeth feel better. You can see what a happy boy he is though. All these pictures were taken in October.

The Rest of the Birthday Pics

Sorry for the delay, here are the rest of Noah's birthday. I have to load the most recent pictures so I can post them as well. Things have been crazy the last few months. Hope everyone is well!
